THE world-renowned Riverdance franchise celebrates its 21st anniversary in style with four action-packed shows on Friday, April 1 to Sunday, April 3 at St David’s Hall, Cardiff.

After an incredible two decades of global success since the show first burst into the public’s hearts at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, this iconic show is back by popular demand.

The 2016 tour features a fresh, young generation of Irish dancers who weren’t actually born in 1995 when the show first opened at Dublin’s Point Theatre. Since then with the help of the legendary Michael Flatley, Riverdance has been seen by well over 25 million people worldwide and a staggering two billion on TV.

Riverdance 21 is composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan, and continues to captivate audiences after all this time. To celebrate the 21st anniversary, the production has been enhanced with stunning lighting, and dazzling costumes.

Please note that Michael Flatley does not appear in the Riverdance 21 shows.

Evening shows take place on Friday and Saturday at 8pm, with matinee performances at 2.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets for evening performances cost £34.50 to £44 and matinees cost £32.50 to £40, plus a £2.95 Ticket Service Charge per transaction and an optional 95p postage fee. Reductions of £2 per ticket are available for standard concessions.
