PENARTH Operatic and Dramatic Society is gearing up for their latest production, ready to hit the Paget Rooms stage from May 18-21.

Have you seen Deloris Van Cartier, a lounge singer from Philadelphia is thought to be the only witness in a brutal murder in Penarth. A well known police informant, Eddie Williams (Harri Herniman), will be murdered at the Paget Rooms in Penarth, every night during their production.

Rumour has it that Deloris is in fact well known local singer Catherine Scott.

Cath's family are desperate for news of her whereabouts. Her husband Iain, says she has been missing since January, when she joined PODS to start rehearsals for their next musical Sister Act.

It is thought that she is disguising herself in a nun's habit to play the lead in this smash hit from Broadway and the West End.

A huge reward - in the form of a great night's entertainment - is promised to anyone who comes forward to buy a ticket for this show.

Whoopi Goldberg who starred in the original movie was the brains and production talent behind the stage version, and nothing is lost in translation as this fabulous musical takes to the stage.

Tickets are already selling fast, so get yours before they sell out from pods-penarth.org or call 029 2071 2260.

A limited supply of tickets will also be available in person from Tenovus on Windsor Road after April 20.
