ON SATURDAY, May 7, members from Penarth Athletic Club Art Class will display their work in the Coffee Shop at Stanwell Road Baptist Church.
The exhibition in the Coffee Shop, which is opposite West House, will be open between 10am and noon.
Entry is free and everyone is welcome to come along and view the broad range of styles and subject matter on show. There will be local scenes, portraiture, wildlife and landscapes, along with the paintings, prints and greeting cards, a gorgeous range of freshly baked home made cakes, tea and coffee can all be purchased.
The class tutor Andrew Coslett will be on hand to talk about the class which is held every Tuesday at Penarth Athletic Club, Lavernock Road.
Exhibitors include, Glen Boot, Anne Moore, Cynthia Calrow, Peter Blackburn, June Cole, John Thompson, Vicky Lewis, June Tomlinson, Caron Lewis, Eirlys Thomas, Jennifer Hardey, Anne Bowsher, Jane Pickford, Julia and Derek Webb, Pamela Armstrong, Gloria Sturges, Cathy Watters, Len and Eugene Rainbow, Dee Finch, Brian Lewis, Marcia Davies, Janette Fox, Alyson Courtenay, Jane Thomas, Susan Sutherland, Dinah Welchman, Lynne Johanson, Sandra Arthur, David Wheeler along with brothers Colin and John Rees.
The class offers tuition and guidance in a friendly and informal approach, covering many styles and subject matter.
