ITALIAN instrumental outfit Stearica will head to the UK for a string of dates including a performance at the Strange Daze Festival in Cardiff.
In addition, the band have released a live clip for their track Bes which featured on their second album entitled Fertile, which was released in in 2015 on Monotreme Records.
The Turin-based instrumental trio’s powerful, adventurous second album, Fertile, inspired by the squares of the Arab Spring and Barcelona’s Indignants, features guest appearances from Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys), Colin Stetson (Tom Waits, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, etc…) and Ryan Patterson (Coliseum).
Over the past decade, Stearica have gained a cult following in the independent music underground, touring and performing live with the likes of Girls Against Boys, NoMeansNo, Dalek, Tarentel, Damo Suzuki, Coliseum, and forming the Acid Mothers Temple and Stearica Orchestra.
Stearica will perform at the festival on Saturday, May 28.
