VALE of Glamorgan Artists (Voga) are currently displaying their work at the Hearth Gallery, Llandough Hospital.
The exhibition develops the theme of Regeneration which is based around the idea of recovery, renewal, revival, change and conversion.
Some of the work is based on visits by Voga artists to Llandough hospital where drawing and photographs were made of the hospital environment.
By using a wide range of media like collages, textiles and printing materials an exciting range of artworks was produced. The show was opened by Jane Hutt AM.
The gallery is based near the main entrance by the coffee shop. It is open daily from 9am to 8pm. The show closes on Friday, September 9.
The Voga group was formed in 1997 with the aim of promoting the work of artists living and working in the Vale. It particularly aims to raise the awareness of the visual arts with the general public.
Voga also has considerable involvement in community events and charitable activities. The current membership includes 20 painters, sculptors, printmakers, ceramicists and digital artists. Membership is granted through a majority vote on the standard of work by a prospective new member.
