TECHNIQUEST'S popular Admiral After Hours event for adults will return on Thursday, September 29 with activities, the planetarium and a licensed bar.

Thanks to support from Admiral, the Cardiff-based insurance specialist, adults will have exclusive access to the 120 hands-on exhibits, fun science, entertainment and shows in the 360 degree Planetarium.

Plus, at this Admiral After Hours Does Cancer Research themed event, join the Wales Cancer Partnership to explore the ground-breaking cancer research taking place in Wales. Put your problem solving skills to the test in the Escape from the Lab challenge and unleash your inner cancer researcher with practical laboratory activities at this interactive evening.

Dr Anita Shaw, deputy CEO, Techniquest, said: “We hear all the time from visitors how much they loved visiting Techniquest when they were younger – now, these evenings allow them to take part in all these fun activities again, without having to keep an eye on the children. And, if you’ve never visited and wondered what happens here, this is a fantastic opportunity to find out. It also helps us to answer the age-old question - who enjoys it here most, children or adults?”

Admiral’s chief financial officer Geraint Jones said: “We are proud of our continuing sponsorship of Admiral After Hours. It is great to be able to support a fun and educational initiative in the local Cardiff community and our staff enjoy these events immensely.”

Four After Hours events will be held between September and March 2017. For more information, please visit .techniquest.org
