CELEBRATE Wales' most romantic day at Dyffryn House with a special afternoon tea.

This St Dwynwen’s Day, or Dydd Santes Dwynwen, you can pretend to be the lord or lady of the manor whilst enjoying a special afternoon tea, overlooking the Edwardian terrace and great lawn from the morning room of Dyffryn House.

The award-winning National Trust property, located in the Vale of Glamorgan, will be hosting the afternoon tea on Wednesday, January 25 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Guests will be able to enjoy homemade cakes, scones and tea within the 19th century mansion. Booking is essential at a cost per person of £15.95 or £18.95 with a glass of bubbly, which includes the price of admission to the grounds.

You can also take this opportunity to go for a stroll around the 55 acre Grade I listed garden to see the snowdrops starting to appear.

There are expansive formal lawns, walled gardens with a glasshouse, themed outdoor rooms and an arboretum with historically significant tree and shrub collections, all to see on your special visit.

To book call the Garden’s Cafe on 02920 590811.
