ABSOLUTELY Fabulous Events organiser Sue Thomas is holding another Vegan Fair at the Paget Rooms later this month.

A number of businesses ranging from food and health and beauty will make the journey to Penarth to promote healthy living and the benefits of a vegan diet.

Running from 11am until 4pm on Sunday, February 26, a number of businesses will have a selection of vegan food plus help and support for people wanting to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

One of the beauty businesses attending will be Cardiff’s Cwtch Hair and Beauty, a salon using vegan products. At the event they will be showcasing what the salon offers and giving demonstrations to the public.

Adding to the list will be Sims Salt Pipes – a pipe that uses high grade Himalayan salt to help people experiencing chest issues. Members of the team will be hosting a stall to inform the public of the product.

Food stalls will include vegan cheese from Raw Food, Rosies, Mr Nice Pie and Vork Pies, Peace and Bake, Shirley’s Raw Chocolate, Vic’s Vegan Bakes, Deb’s Pantry.

Plus there will be a range of cruelty free make-up and skin care at the fair.

The fair will also support the work of Hillside Animal Sanctuary, which rescues animals in need. Visitors will be able to purchase Hillside cards, hooded sweatshirts and enter a raffle to win an Elvis pig. All profits from the sale of Hillside merchandise and the £1-a-strip-raffle will be donated to Hillside Animal Sanctuary.
