About this neighbourhood
Cathays comprises the streets that radiate from Crwys road. It is bounded by Crown Way to the North of the ward and by Albany road to the South. Cathays is an area of diverse population swelled in term time by large numbers of students from Cardiff University.
It is a lively community with many small independent retailers and restaurants making Cathays a popular area to shop and socialise both for residents and visitors.
