Marie Curie Penarth Great Daffodil Appeal

MARIE Curie Cancer Care is looking for people to help organise the charity's biggest annual fundraising campaign, the Great Daffodil Appeal.
The Great Daffodil Appeal encourages everyone to give a donation and wear the charity's iconic daffodil pin during February and March. All the money raised from the appeal will help the charity provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses at the Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth.
With planning for the 2013 campaign already under way, the local Marie Curie fundraising team are looking for volunteers to help in a variety of roles.
From organising local collections to delivering boxes of daffodils to shops in your area, by volunteering some of your time you'll be helping local people with a terminal illness to get the care they need.
If you'd like to help your local Marie Curie fundraising team prepare for the Great Daffodil Appeal and make the 2013 campaign the most successful yet, contact Helen Griffiths or Karen Jones on 029 20 426068 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil for more information.
