Penarth concert organiser says thankyou

A PENARTH woman has thanked everyone for attending a fundraising concert she held in the town recently.
Gabriella Urbano, 19, organised the event at the All Saints Church Lesser Hall to help fund her music studies.
The money raised will go towards tuition fees for Gabriella to study an Electric Guitar course at the Nexus music college in Coventry.
As part of the entry requirements for the course, students must also organise a concert.
"The gig turned out to be a brilliant night and raised a massive £568.54 towards my college funds!" said Gabriella.
"I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to support us and anyone who took part.
"The sound team did an amazing job and gave up their whole evening free of charge.
"Vale of Glamorgan Brewery donated all the beer, and all raffle prizes were donated by local Penarth businesses," she added.
"All the acts, including Luke Bennett, John Teagle and Rhys Bobbett, The Urbano Sisters and OpenHouse, were amazing!"
