New Vale of Glamorgan initiative to tackle anti-social behaviour
4:00pm Saturday 27th October 2012 in News
DO you want to be part of the new Vale of Glamorgan initiative to tackle anti-social behaviour in your community?
The Vale's new neighbourhood resolution panels will use restorative justice conferencing to focus on victims of anti-social behaviour and communities to ensure they have a vital say in how the offender can repair the harm they have caused.
And they are looking for volunteers to help make things better.
Key qualities for this role include being a good listener, being non-judgemental, good communication skills, as well as being someone who would like to make a positive contribution to their community.
As a volunteer, you will receive training in victim support, restorative justice, safeguarding and
youth justice foundation training.
For more information on this new role contact the Vale Volunteer Bureau on 01446 421782.
