LLANDOUGHÂ Guides recently volunteered at the Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern celebrations.
The chairman of DPVC, John Fanshaw said: "I am indebted to the girls and their leaders for helping to make the evening a success and thank them for their hardwork throughout the evening."
Alan Higgins, vice chair added: "The girls were a credit to the Guide movement as a whole and to themselves individually."
The Guides enjoyed meeting people from the wider community and the experience is part of the Community Action part of the Guide programme that involves making a difference in a specific area of their local community.
