PENARTH police are investigating a number of petrol thefts from Renault Clios.

The first occurred between 7pm on October 9 and 8am on October 10 on Queens Road.

The second was on Plassey Street at around 9.30pm on October 26.

A few hours later, at approximately 1am on October 27, police and the Fire Service were called to Glebe Street where the fuel tank of a Clio had been damaged and petrol was leaking.

Another Clio was targeted the same weekend on Arcot Street.

Officers ask people to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour by calling 101. Anyone with information on the thefts should also ring 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
