CARDIFF City Community Foundation and African Adventures are launching a volunteering trip to Kenya - and are appealing for enthusiastic Barry & District News and Penarth Times readers to join in!
African Adventures is the Uk's leading ethnic travel organisation and runs trips to Africa for groups to spend time working with community projects in developing areas.
The aim of the trip is to raise £20,000 for Cardiff City Community Foundation whilst supporting African Adventures' partner projects in Kenya, and providing supporters with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Cardiff City Community Foundation actively supports the local community in and around south Wales by using the power of football to deliver inspirational, progressive and professional initiatives that follow the values of the club.
The trip will take place from Monday, June 3 to Friday, June 14 (2013).
