IMAGINE the scene - a medieval village, a crisp cold night, an expectant crowd of onlookers listening as the brass band plays and the carolers sing, and then it goes quiet
The narrator begins to tell a tale of scruffy shepherds, alien astrologers, a young homeless couple, an evil King Herod and a wild prophet named John the Baptist.
Cosmeston Church, Immanuel Church and the Penarth Community Choir have joined forces to bring you this year's traditional Nativity Play at Cosmeston Lakes.
Come along to see watch the drama unfold, and afterwards enjoy a well-deserved mince pie.
The action begins at 4pm on Sunday, 16 December. Follow the directions to the medieval village from the main car park.
