New Penarth exercise classes for people with mobility or cardiovascular problems

TWO new classes for people with mobility or cardiovascular problems are set to start in Penarth.

The clinical exercise sessions will take place in Albert Road Church Hall with instructor Ceinwen Sawyer, who specialises in exercise for people with poor fitness, those prone to falling, and people with cardiovascular problems.

Ceinwen said: "Everyone works at their own pace and the classes have a fun element built in so shouldn't be seen as punishing.

"The aim is to improve posture, general fitness, strength, mobility, co-ordination and balance so that confidence is improved."

The class for people who would like to improve their posture and mobility starts on Monday, January 21, at 2.45pm; and the class for people with cardiovascular conditions starts on Tuesday, January 22 at 2pm.

These are in addition to the established class Ceinwen takes on a Wednesday at 5.15pm.
