Vale maintenance teams get to work in Penarth

THE Vale Council’s parks and ground maintenance team will undertake a schedule of planned tree works in the Penarth Escarpment, Paget Hill and Portway area over the coming weeks.
Work will start on February 4 and will continue through until March 28. The planned works will improve woodland management and reduce overhanging trees in the vicinity.
The team will remove branches overhanging pavements, car parks and play areas. Tree thinning and removal will also be undertaken by the team to reduce encroachment.
Traffic controls will be in place on Paget Road Hill while work is ongoing.
All planned work is dependent upon weather and ground conditions.
