Air Cadet open evening
1:16pm Monday 25th February 2013 in News
PENARTH Air Cadet Squadron is holding an open evening on Wednesday, February 27, and you are invited!
Air Cadets is a uniformed youth organisation for girls and boys aged 13-17, which is sponsored by the Royal Air Force and can give you hands-on experience of activities and courses that will challenge and develop your skills to help you succeed in whatever you want to do.
The opportunities are endless and most of all you get to meet a whole host of new people along the way. Activities offered to cadets include flying, gliding, shooting, adventure training, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, BTECs and archery just to name a few.
They also run camps based within the UK and overseas. And there's one more important thing - it's a lot of fun!
Penarth Air Cadets are located opposite Dingle Road train station, Dingle Lane (CF64 2EU) in Penarth.
Cadets parade Monday and Wednesday evenings between 7pm-9.30pm, offer plenty of activities to do all year and over the summer holidays, and only close for Christmas and New Year.
Just turn up at the squadron for 7pm and have some fun.
