A NEW interior designer showroom officially opened in Penarth town centre on Saturday, June 22.

Jewels Canley Interiors, based on Glebe Street and designed to complement the already successful shop on Cardiff''s Whitchurch Road, provides services ranging from complete interior design projects and commercial styling solutions to bespoke commissions, window dressing and reupholstering.

Owner and interior designer Julie Perkins said: "Business has been exceptional for us. I think our dedication to good design and our signature styling formula has played a huge role in our success. With more and more clients expressing a demand for our services, we felt that this was an ideal time to expand. We have many long-standing clients based in the Vale, and Penarth seemed the perfect location for our second shop. A lot of high quality businesses have opened in the town over the past year and it has a really good vibe."

The showroom will bring with it a host of new and exclusive brands to Wales, including ultra chic shutters by Kelly Hoppen, the soon-to-be new dragon of BBC's Dragon's Den and interior designer to the Beckham's, quintessentially British wallpapers and fabrics by luxury fashion house Mulberry, and cutting edge designs by the newly launched Romo Black Edition.
