A FUNDRASING night in aid of two animal charities will be held at the Seashore Grill in Sully this Friday, October 18.

The night will start with a range of arts and craft stalls selling Christmas items, before tribute acts of Elvis and Blondie are performed later in the evening.

Money raised from the night will go towards the Hillside Animal Sanctuary and Fforest Uchaf Horse and Pony Centre.

From 5.30pm the stalls, as part of Absolutely Fabulous shopping events, will feature Wish Tree Shop, Snazzy Betty Gifts, Gorgeous Glass, Nifty & Co Swansea, Forever wood turned items, Ricky’s Salon and more gifts and Christmas decorations not sold on the High Street.

From 7.30pm the music starts with Gareth Jones as Elvis and Madeline, from the PDSA charity shop in Penarth, performing Blondie hits.

There will also be a raffle during the night.

Sue Thomas, who has organised the night, said: “A big thank you to Maureen Prottey for her signed limited edition print of ‘Bracken the horse’ and her many postcards and prints for me to sell for the horses.

“I would also like to thank Fry's Vegetarian Foods for sending me free samples, many friends for their bottles of wine and chocolates for the raffle, and Gareth Jones and Madeline for giving their time too.”

She added: “If you wish to donate a raffle prize or a donation please call in and see me on the night.”

Tickets for sale on the night are £5 each or phone Sue Thomas for further information on 02920 709292.

All ticket sales go to Hillside Animal Sanctuary and Fforest Uchaf Horse and Pony Centre.
