MARIE Curie Cancer Care is looking for people in South East Wales to help organise the charity's biggest annual fundraising campaign, the Great Daffodil Appeal.

The Great Daffodil Appeal encourages everyone to give a donation and wear the charity's iconic daffodil pin during February and March. All the money raised from the appeal will help the charity provide more free care to people with terminal illnesses at The Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff and the Vale.

With planning for the 2014 campaign already underway, the local Marie Curie fundraising team are looking for volunteers to help in a variety of roles. From organising local collections to delivering boxes of daffodils to shops in your area, by volunteering some of your time you'll be helping local people with a terminal illness to get the care they need.

If you'd like to help your local Marie Curie fundraising team prepare for the Great Daffodil Appeal and make the 2014 campaign the most successful yet contact Georgina Burke on 029 20426068 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil for more information.
