THE SAVING Sully Group has appealed for Vale residents to submit their views on the Local Development Plan before the consultation closes on Friday, December 20.

The action group has held a series of advice workshops to help people fill in the Vale Council’s consultation forms, with the last one to be held at the Old School Hall in Sully on Saturday, December 14, between 10am and 4pm.

A spokeswoman from the action group said: “To object to the Cog LDP - quote MG2(46).

For Upper Cosmeston Farm LDP quote MG2 (23) and for the permanent traveller site quote MG5.

“Please state your objections on one or more of the above proposals. If you do not wish to use the Vale of Glamorgan Council prepared forms, then a simple letter will suffice, but please remember if you object to more than one proposal, you must write a separate letter for each one of your objections.

“Remember to sign, date, and ask for an acknowledgement on each letter of objection.”

She added: “There is a help desk available on Saturday, December 14, at the Old School in Sully between 10am and 4pm. Also, if you wish to drop in your objections to the Helpdesk at the Old School, we will ensure that they are delivered to the council offices on your behalf prior to the deadline of December 20.

“Finally, it is vital that the views and objections of residents are registered with the Vale Council reflecting local opinions and views on each of the proposals.”
