PENARTH’S annual Poppy Appeal has raised an impressive £26,000.
Tony Phillips, Poppy Appeal organiser for the Penarth branch of the Royal British Legion, said: “I would like to thank all those involved in the Poppy Appeal which raised a splendid
£26,000.
“All the schools of Penarth and Sully, the Cadets of all services and everybody else involved. Special thanks to Alan and Hazel and Mrs Twynham and her son.”
He added: “It was another good year for the Penarth branch of the Royal British Legion. Thank you all once again.”
