THE evening of December 3 saw pupils from Stanwell and St Cyres comprehensive schools play in rock bands they had formed during a 10 week intensive 'rock school' with Welsh-based company Rock Academy Wales (RAW).
Ten Feet Tall in Cardiff hosted the evening which was a collaboration of bands from all over Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan showcasing their talents to an excited crowd of family and friends.
Rock hits such as Highway to Hell and a punk version of Hit Me Baby One More Time were blasted out through the speakers as the proud parents of these budding rock stars finally saw what their youngsters had been working on in the RAW after school sessions.
RAW will be returning to Penarth in the New Year to work on a new set of rock stars, but if you're too old for school but still want to rock, then check out their Corporate Rock events on their website at www.rockacademywales.com
