AFTER much deliberation Penarth Town Mayor, Councillor Neil Thomas, decided that this year's Best Dressed Window competition winner is Andrea's Flower Boutique for the effort and colour which adorned the shop's window in this festive season.
Cllr Thomas handed the trophy to the shop owners Rachel Came and Ceri McCann who were extremely pleased and proud to have been selected as the best dressed window for Christmas 2013 and wished all a very merry Christmas.
The runners-up, in no particular order, are Ener-Chi and Hamptons who were presented with certificates.
The Town Mayor wished to thank all those in the town who had made concerted efforts to brighten up the town centre with fabulous Christmas window displays, adding, that unfortunately not everyone could win.
It is hoped that the competition will go from strength to strength and that next year Penarth becomes a shoppers choice in destination due to its Christmas Window displays.
The Town Council wishes to thank everyone a wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a wonderfully happy new year.
