IF you have a camera at home or at work and feel that you are not making good use of all the functions a modern digital camera can offer then now is the time to join a 10 week course ‘Digital Photography for Beginners’.

You will look at operating the various modes and functions of your individual camera and develop skills such as how to compose a good photograph, how to use light and shade in photographs and how to take a wide range of photographs such as portraits of people and animals, landscapes, and close ups everyday items.

You will also learn how to download and save your photos onto a computer. The Digital Photography course takes place on Monday afternoons from 3.15pm- 5.15pm at Albert Road Church and Community Centre in Penarth and starts January 20.

For anyone who has already has basic digital photography skills a 10 week ‘Photography for Improvers’ course allows you to build on those basic skills and encourages the development of more advanced techniques to further enhance your photographs. This course will run Mondays 1pm – 3pm at Albert Road Church and Community Centre, Penarth.
