ON January 16, the Head of Digital learning for the Welsh Government Lindsay Harvey visited Stanwell School.
Lindsay spoke with Year 11 pupils about how passionate he is about the Welsh language and how important the Welsh language has been to him throughout his career.
He explained to the students that he learned Welsh as a second language. He spoke about an increasing demand for people who can communicate in Welsh in the work place. It has become an essential skill in many jobs in Wales.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed his presentation and their response was very positive.
