Can you give the gift of time to help local pets?

A LOCAL charity store is appealing for animal lovers to volunteer their time to help raise vital funds for sick and injured pets.

The UK's leading vet charity, PDSA, is looking for new team members to come and help run the busy charity store on Windsor Road, Penarth.

Assistant manager, Christopher Murphy, said: "A volunteer in our store will get to meet new people and add some valuable skills and experience to their CV. They will also be helping to raise much-needed funds for local pets in need. We are looking for people who are passionate about pets and can lend a hand, even if its a few hours a week."

For more details about volunteering for PDSA, call the National Volunteering Centre on freephone 0800 854194 or visit

Located at 6 Windsor Road, the Penarth PDSA store raises funds to provide PDSA-funded veterinary treatment in the local area.
