MARIE Curie Cancer Care is recruiting volunteers to help with the annual Great Daffodil Appeal during February and March.
There will be a number of collections in the local area to help raise money to care for more patients with a terminal illness in their own home, or at the Cardiff and the Vale hospice.
A Marie Curie spokeswoman added: “There are more than 150 collections taking place locally so please do contact us if you would be able to spare an hour or two as each collection pays for two hours of nursing care on average.
“More than £70 million has been raised nationally through the Great Daffodil Appeal since it started in 1986 with £7 million raised in 2013 and we want this year to be the best ever!”
