THE Lent lunches, hosted by the Churches in Penarth, continue every Friday at noon - 1.30pm in the Salvation Army Citadel in Plassey Street, Penarth. Cost £4. All proceeds are given to Christian Aid.
So do come along and partake of delicious homemade soup, cheese and tea or coffee. It's a lovely way to socialise with others and also help a very worthwhile charity. Friday, April 4, will be hosted by St Augustine's and Holy Nativity churches.
