A CHARITY quiz night in Cardiff raised more than £4,000 for the children's hospiceTy Hafan, which supports life-limited children, young people and their families.

The quiz night, held at Henry’s Cafe Bar, was organised by property consultancy Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (TFT) and raised a total of £4,500.

The fiercely fought contest, which took place on March 18, saw a team from solicitors Hugh James winning first place after a nail-biting tie-breaker with a team from another solicitors practice, Cordner Lewis, with ECO2 Ltd taking third place.

More than 140 people took part in the quiz which comprised of 35 teams from Cardiff’s business community, as well as a team from Ty Hafan.

The quiz night is the third in a series organised by TFT, which in total has now raised £16,500 for Ty Hafan.

“It was fantastic to be supported by TFT’s third annual corporate quiz night. The event was a massive success and we would like to thank John and his team at TFT for all of their hard work in making it happen.”

John Newton, Partner in Charge at TFT’s Cardiff office, and host for the evening, said:
