THE Penarth Civic Society is holding its Annual General Meeting at the Trinity Church Rooms, Woodfield Place, Penarth, on Wednesday, April 23, at 7.30pm. All members are encouraged to attend and vote in new officers to the executive committee. Nomination forms have already been sent out in the society’s March newsletter. After the meeting Alan Thorne, the Penarth historian, will be presenting a talk entitled ‘Penarth memories of pre and post D-Day – on the 70th anniversary’.
Members entry is free. Visitors entry costs £1.
