THE SAVING Sully action group are set to hold a fundraising concert next month.
The group have been campaigning against housing proposals in the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Draft Local Development Plan (LDP).
They are opposed to proposals for housing at Upper Cosmeston Farm and the siting of a permanent traveller site at the former recycling site on Hayes Road.
The fundraising concert comes after a hugely successful Race Night held earlier this month.
Cowbridge Male Voice Choir will perform at the fundraiser at The Old School in Sully on Monday, June 28.
There will also be a licensed bar and soft drinks available. Tickets cost £7.50 each with doors opening at 7pm. For tickets and further information contact David Roberts at Sully and Lavernock Community Council on 02920 530006.
