TWO hair stylists from Allen Sadler are celebrating after proving a cut above the rest in a national hair competition.

Level Three stylists Jennifer Dymmock and Amy Crocket both competed in the ISA Salon Cymru hair competition last month.

Taking part in the bridal category against 20 other competitors the girls impressed the judges with their work.

Amy Crocket came in fourth position, whilst Jenifer Dymmock was awarded second place.

It was a fantastic result against tough competition, but their hours of practice paid off.

Both would like to thank their very professional models.

Kirsty, who manages the salon, said it was a great achievement for both the girls and the salon.

"We are so pleased to have such great talent," she said.

Jen and Amy both started their training at the salon in Hickman Road, Penarth, three years ago. They have both completed NVQ level 2 and are now both completing their NVQ level 3.

Becky Nickells who has also completed her NVQ Level 3, has just been awarded her hairdressing state registration. Everyone at Allen Sadler would like to congratulate her on her efforts.
