I'VE been watching an item about the Tour de France on the 6pm news.
We were informed all preparations were in place: all roads have been resurfaced, bunting has been strung up in readiness for the pre-race parade through Leeds... Hang on a minute - did I hear correctly - all roads have been resurfaced? Is this the answer for Penarth? I think the council needs to get its bid in now to host a stage for next year's race so residents of Penarth can enjoy the benefit of having all roads resurfaced too!
