AS part of the Penarth Festival calendar the Penarth Painting for Pleasure group will be demonstrating their skills at the Kymin on Sunday, July 13, from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors will also be able to browse completed works and if there is anything that appeals they will be able to make a purchase.

This is a good opportunity to talk to our artists and discuss aspects of their work.

Started in 1984 by five artistic ladies, the group works mainly through the medium of watercolours, acrylics and pastels etc.

The group meets regularly on a Wednesday evening and encourages artists of all abilities to enjoy expressing themselves through the medium of art.

It is an extremely social atmosphere with a break for refreshments and ‘banter’. Three of our artists (Peggy, Von and Helen) are exhibiting their works on the Cliff Top.

We hope you can come along on the Sunday where everybody will be most welcome.
