TIME is running out to vote for Penarth Pier to be crowned the winner of the National Trust Special Places in Wales shortlist.
Sharing the privilege with the likes of Dyffryn House and Gardens, Snowdonia National Park and the Brecon Beacons, the top ten reflects a nationwide campaign to find the locations and destinations most-loved by the people of Wales.
The shortlist was whittled down by a panel of experts including travel writer Simon Calder and wildlife presenter Iolo Williams, and now it's up to the public to decide Wales' most Special Place by voting online or in person at the Pavilion.
A spokeswoman from Penarth Pier Pavilion said: "Since we reopened the doors on our Art Deco renovation in 2013 we've not only grown a community of loyal regulars but we've become a key focal point for tourists on the South Wales coast, who keep coming back for our mix of food, film, art and creativity, all served up with that unbeatable sea view and by our amazing team of staff.
