POLICE are appealing for help finding a missing teenager that was last seen in Penarth more than a week ago.

Jodie Bickerstaff, who is believed to be with fellow missing teenager Curtis Palmer, was last seen in Penarth at around 10am on Wednesday, July 23.

Curtis was last seen by his mother at his home address in the Fairwater area of Cardiff at 9am on the same day.

Curtis is described as being white, around 5ft 10” tall and of athletic build. He has cropped brown hair and a chin strap type beard. He also has a small scar to his left cheek. He was believed to be wearing a dark t-shirt, dark combats and black trainers, though he may have changed clothing since his disappearance.

The pair are highly likely to be in the company of each other.

Inspector Ioan Davies said: “We are concerned for the welfare of both Jodie and Curtis as they haven’t been seen since Wednesday last week. Jodie and Curtis, if either of you see this please get in touch. You are not in any trouble we just want to know you are safe”.

Police are urging the two teenagers to get in touch, and anyone with any information on the pair is asked to contact South Wales Police on 101.
