THIS very popular annual event continues to go from strength to strength and it all happens again on Saturday, August 30 at the Parish and Lee Halls, Dinas Powys.

It is an important afternoon in the social calendar for lots of people, young and older alike, as they spend the afternoon enjoying what the Show has to offer.

Inside the halls are the competition classes, all 115 of them, ranging from cookery to flowers, vegetables and fruit to photography, art and needlework to craftwork, plus the entries for the young peoples'

Classes. it is sure to be a very colourful and busy place on that afternoon.

Outside in the gardens the entertainment includes live music from the Dinas Powys Ecumenical Seven, two Punch and Judy shows, free face-painting and balloon modelling as well as the Model railway and meccano exhibits plus the excellent Women's Institute Teas in the Lee Hall. We mustn't forget the Bouncy castle (weather permittint), Owls 4 U and all the Community stalls as well as the travelling Scarecrows, Robert and Agnes, that can be seen around the village prior to the day of the Show.
