PENARTH Assembly Member Vaughan Gething has congratulated local students on another excellent year for AS and A-level, Welsh Baccalaureate and GCSE results.
Vaughan Gething said: “My congratulations go to students from St Cyres, Stanwell and Richard Gwyn for producing another improving set of results in the local area. I also pay tribute to all our teachers, parents and governors for their hard work in helping learners reach their full potential. Whether continuing with further education or entering the workplace the choices that students collecting their results today make will help secure a prosperous and successful future for themselves, the local area and also for Wales."
He added: "I also urge pupils who did not get the grades they were looking for to contact Careers Wales on 0800 208 4844 for free impartial advice and guidance."
