KNITTERS AND STITCHERS: Members of the group attended the exhibition in Bath

NINE members of Sully U3A's Knitters and Stitchers Group recently visited the American Museum, Bath. The purpose of the visit was to see the Kaffe Fassett exhibition. Kaffe Fassett is a world-renowned knitwear and textile designer and the exhibition is to celebrate his 50 year long association with the Museum. Kaffe's maxim is to find colour in a grey world and the exhibition did not disappoint. Everyone marvelled at his skill, use of materials and colour. There was also time to explore the Museum's collection of American history, the lovely grounds and have tea on the terrace.

Sully U3A meets on the second Thursday of the month in The Old School, Sully. The next meeting will be on Thursday, 11 September at 2pm when Dean Powell will be speaking on Dr William Price. New members are always welcome.
