CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 6 arrests last week, with the Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacting police a total of 47 times during the week ending September 7.

On September 7, on Windsor Road, Penarth, one person was arrested for being drunk in charge of a vehicle.

On September 2 one person was arrested on John Street, Barry for a vehicle crime.

On September 3, one person was arrested on Holton Road, Barry, for theft.

On September 4, on Boverton Road, Llantwit Major, one person was arrested for domestic assault.

On September 5, in Barry, one person was arrested on Holton Road for theft, and on 6 September one person was arrested on High Street for assault.

An ASBO was issued on September 4 on Holton Road, Barry.

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
