THE Teddy Bears Picnic recently held at Trinity Church, Penarth was a big success with a great turn out of Teddies and their owners, young and old.
There were games and quizzes including ‘Pin the bow tie on the bear’, picture quiz, jokes and bear facts and a veritable feast of bear themed goodies and treats lovingly made or donated by generous members of the Church.
A parade of bears made their way through the grounds of the church to the Teddy Bears Picnic theme tune before all bears won prizes for their owners.
Grateful thanks go to all those who helped on the day and donated refreshments and, of course, everyone who came and had a lovely time.
More than £200 was raised so £100 will be donated to a Kidney Charity with love and blessings from Trinity Methodist Church, Penarth.
