REHEARSALS for the senior production of Elton John’s Aida have begun in earnest with staff and pupils already working extremely hard in preparation for what promises to be an epic show.

Following an extremely challenging casting process, Verity Tucker (Year 12) was successful in securing the role of Aida and Sam Jennings (Year 12) was cast as Radames, the male lead. Staff were left stunned by the talent displayed by pupils during auditions; well done to the large number of students who attended. The demanding full orchestral score will once again be played by an ensemble of students which includes pupils from Year 7 to Year 13.

Tickets will be available to the public from Monday, November 23. Follow @Music2XLfor further updates.
