THE Tuesday afternoon club of Penarth RVS opened with a hymn. Birthday greetings were sun to Dorothy Penny. Cynthia introduced the Barry Ladies Coir who was conducted by Alice. As always the ladies sang a variety of songs and a lady from the choir read two poems which were very humorous.
A vote of thanks was given on behalf of the members for a very enjoyable afternoon. Eilys Thomas also read her poem of thanks to all on the committee for their hard work. Tickets were on sale for the lunch on Tuesday, October 28 at Penmark.
The meeting ended with refreshments and the raffle.
