COMMUNITIES and organisations are being invited to apply to turn a local space into a Grow Wild flagship site. They want people to make expressions of interest to transform a site with wild flowers and plants.
It is part of Grow Wild’s dynamic nationwide campaign to bring people and communities together. The winning site, chosen by public vote, will receive £120,000 to create a beautiful and inspiring communal space in Wales for all to enjoy from summer 2016.
Kew Gardens and the Big Lottery Fund are looking for community groups and other organisations in Wales to discuss ideas and outline their vision for their site.
Details on how to register an expression of interest can be found on their website at www.growwilduk.com. The closing date for entries is February 2, 2015.
