LEARNING: The children got to meet Sian and Arnie the guide dog from Guide Dogs Cymru
THE first Penarth Beaver Scout Colony is working on one of the new badges namely, the Disability Awareness Activity Badge, and on October 20, at their weekly meeting, they met Sian and Arnie the guide dog from Guide Dogs Cymru.
To complete this badge, they have to complete four different sections, disability awareness, physical disability awareness, deaf awareness and sight awareness.
The colony is thriving but would like some more adult help, if you’re interested please contact Julian at info@penarthanddistrict.org.uk and let him know you would like to help the first Penarth.
