COGAN Primary School children have filled a record breaking amount of shoe boxes for the Operation Christmas Child 2014 appeal.
The school broke its previous record to fill 53 shoeboxes with gifts that will soon be on their way to various locations across the world.
Every year Samaritans Purse runs a campaign to send over one million shoeboxes packed with Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children across the world.
Teacher Mrs Mayor gave a moving assembly to the children to raise awareness about the appeal, and said the school was very proud of their efforts.
