BRITAIN'S Got Talent star Jodi Bird has become the first person to sing Frozen's 'Let it Go' in Welsh on live television.

Jodi, who reached the semi-final's of the talent show earlier this year, translated her own version before singing it on S4C last week.

Fellow local teenager Rebekah West featured in the Penarth Times last week after her Welsh translation of Let it Go was watched more than 50,000 times online. Rebekah, who lives in Dinas Powys, translated the song herself as she couldn't find a Welsh version.

Following her appearance on S4C it's set to be a busy festive period for 16-year-old Jodi, with a number of Christmas performances lined up.

She has been asked to perform at the Carols from Llandudno concert on Sunday (December 21), where she will be singing a duet with former X Factor contestant Rydian Roberts, while she also shared the stage with West End star John Owen-Jones as part of a fundraising concert in aid of the Welsh Hearts charity at City Hall in Cardiff on Sunday.

Jodi can also be seen performing in The Morgan Quarter Arcade in Cardiff over the Christmas period.
